Have you ever road-tripped from LA to San Francisco? Because I strongly recommend it. For the views alone (truly breathtaking!) but also for all the smaller towns along the way, like Santa Barbara, Solvang, San Luis Obispo and Monterey. I fell in love with all of them – especially Solvang, but that might have something to do with the blueberry danish I found there... So good! And if you are super dooper lucky (which for the record, we were) you might see hundreds of lazy sea lions raising babies on the California coastline. I could have watched those big guys on the beach forever. It was like being in a David Attenborough documentary.
