admit it, you're jealous of my cookie.

It was the highlight of my afternoon. By a street.

Because sometimes, when I'm at work, just typing and doing my thing, my friend Sarah decides to come and visit. And we go to one of my favourite little cafes Love Grub. And I order a jasmine tea and the world's biggest choc-chip cookie. (One day I will be grown-up enough to order a more sophisticated snack, I promise.)

And the whole afternoon was especially lovely because I never get people coming to visit me at my office. So thank you, Sarah, for pulling me out of my Thursday deadline slump – the memory of that cookie was enough to get me through the rest of the afternoon.

PS. Given this girl is about to have a baby, like any day now, I give her extra points for even leaving the house. If I was nine months pregnant, I would be demanding everyone come to me like a queen... I'm kinda lucky my friends are better people than me, actually.

  5. Um, yes, I am very jealous of your cookie. It looks ridiculously delicious. And, seriously, I'm going to be sitting on the couch with a dozen of those cookies when I'm 9 months preggo - I don't know how women still move at that point, haha. Just joking - hopefully I'll only be on the couch with a 1/2 dozen :)

    1. It did, Trishie. Like all good cookies should! If I had it my way it would have been even more chewy.

  10. Mmmm, cookie. (::Homer style:: "Mmmm...crumbled-up cookie things." Hee!)

I'm totally craving a cookie now, big time. Drat! I blame my usually-filling but not-so-filling-today chicken salad lunch. Pah! No matter: delish local woodfire pizza awaits tonight en route home.

    YEAH, BABY!

    Heh heh.

Today's my first day back at work after 17 days of annual leave and, thankfully, it's Bludge Central. (Although I do like being busy, but today? Not so much. I'm happy to be in bludgorama mode today!)

    xx
